Guest Conductor and Composer
Dr. Uzee Brown Jr, hails from Cowpens South Carolina.  He is a performer, narrator, published composer and arrange, researcher, lecturer, choir director, President of the National Association of Negro Musicians, a member of Morehouse College Board of Trustee and is co-founder and chairman of the board of directors of Onyx Opera Atlanta. 
 
At the gala concert the choir performed a number of pieces he composed or arranged.  He also sing the bass solo in the final concert piece - "Free at Last."
