WELCOME TO CHIP: Today we welcome members from
CHIP. What is CHIP?
The Complete Health
Improvement
Program (CHIP) - formerly Coronary Health
Improvement Project - is an affordable, lifestyle
enrichment program designed to reduce disease risk
factors through the adoption of better health habits
and appropriate lifestyle modifications. The goal is
to lower blood cholesterol, hypertension, and blood
sugar levels and reduce excess weight. This is done
by improving dietary choices, enhancing daily
exercise, increasing support systems and decreasing
stress, thus aiding in preventing and reversing
disease. This program is now introduced in The
Bahamas through the Adventist Health Ministries
Department.

BIBLE
ARITHMETIC
Here is
a wonderful game to play this afternoon with your
family and friends. Give each person a pencil and
paper, and then read the following questions. Each
person is to see how many of the correct numbers he
or she can recall.
-
How many sons had
Jacob?
-
How many kine
(cows) did Pharaoh see in his dream?
-
How many people
went into the ark?
-
How old was
Methuselah when he died?
-
How many days and
night did it raid during the flood?
-
How old was Jesus
when he went to the temple with his parents?
-
How many books are
there in the Bible?
-
How many sheep did
the shepherd have when he went to find the one
that was lost?
-
How many sons did
Israel have?
-
How many years are
there in the millennium?
-
How many books are
there in the Pentateuch?
