   How Hot Are You?

Today's Text: Revelation 3:15 & 16

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot.

I wish you were either one or the other!  So, because you are lukewarm

—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

High Points:

Slide Show

  • According to Revelation 3:15 and 16, Jesus was disappointed because His people were not hot.

  • What is the meaning of being "hot?"  Is it something physical or spiritual?

  • Most high school students think of being "hot" as being sexy and cool.  Is that all bad?

  • If high school students are not hot for Jesus, they will be hot for Satan and that's scary and dangerous.

  • When you are hot for Satan you are in reality cold for Jesus.  Sex, drugs, cheating are the games of the day.

  • It is only when high school students are hot for Jesus  they can  truly make wise decisions about life.
