Transition Photo & Video
Some people
call retirement
This photos
was taken on Thursday, November 15, 2021,
at the South Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day
Adventist.
It was a special appreciation gathering for me done by
the staff.
It was my last working day before transitioning
(retirement).
I was entitled to two weeks vacation that began that
day.
Thus my last official day would be November 29, 2019,
which was my 65th birthday.
It felt so good.
Retirement is a transition to a new way of living.
I began
pastoral ministry on Monday, June 12, 1978 at 9:00 a.m.
in Nassau, The Bahamas
In 1992, after 14 years is pastoral ministry alone, I
went to Andrews University to study mental health.
After training as a marriage and family therapist at
Andrews University,
I began my private practice in June of 1996.
Hence, I wore two hats for the remaining years--pastor
and psychologist (up
to 2019).
On November 29, 2019, I transitioned to full-time
practice in
counseling psychology and
marriage and family therapy.
