Claudia Seymour
Oldest child:
Dearest Mom, Happy birthday. You are to special to
me. I love you dearly. You have taught
me so much. It is a joy caring for you
during these quiet days of your life. Here
is a poem to honor you today:
She Is My Mother
By Alon Calinao Dy
She is a woman
Who feeds, cuddles, and loves me.
The one who gave birth to me.
I'm her greatest fan.
She is my mother
Who loves my father,
Does anything for her children
And takes care of her grandchildren.
She is my best friend too,
Comforts me when I feel blue.
She is my best mother,
I couldn't replace her with another.
She is a sweet and loving parent
Who cooks my favorite foods,
Does household chores
And looks after my grandparents.
She does multi-tasks
And gives me anything I ask
Because for her,
I'm her wealth and power.
When I was a child,
She taught me how to fear God.
Sometimes, I found it awkward
But she would understand.
She is my mother,
A wonderful mother
To her sons and daughter.
I am very proud of her. |

Barrington Brennen Son:
Dearest Mom, you are a
wonderful, superdalious mother. Your kindness,
patients, sweetness and generosity were good examples
for me. You taught me how to cook, bake, sew,
knit, pom-pom (can't remember how to do it), clean,
study, read, etc. Most of all you taught me
faithfulness and loyalty. As the only son among
three daughters, you made me feel very comfortable doing
things many thought that were only feminine. And
because of you love you helped me grow into a man.
You are wonderful. Today you are not able to hug
me, but I can still feel your hugs. You are not able
to run and walk about, but I can still feel your
strength. Although you cannot get out of
bed, your beautify smiles are so
reviving. You are so dignified. Even
though your memory is fading and your thought processes
are delayed, you still respond with the words "Yes thank
you" or "Thank you very much" etc. Annick
and I, our children and grandchildren, think the world
of you. I mean the whole big wide world.
Love you mom. You're the best.
Your only son forever,
Barrington |

Judith Edwards Daughter, Arizona:
The best mother in the world celebrating her birthday
this week. No other woman is alive like her. She has
taught us all well and only strive everyday in my life
to be like her. Happy Birthday Mom. She was always said
to the the twin of Queen Elizabeth because she looks so
much like her! She is our Queen!. |

Ann Albury,
Daughter, Freeport, Grand Bahama:
Today marks another
significant milestone in your life. The blessing to have
lived for 86 years is awesome! However, more importantly
in my eyes and so many others whose lives you've
touched, you have lived a purposeful, meaningful life.
Your tenacity and perseverance I have witnessed through
out my lifetime, and from you I have learned how to face
many difficulties and become the strong woman I am. The
love overflowing from you exudes in your smile and your
gentle touch, even now as you adjust to this phase of
immobility in your life. Still smiling, still gracious,
still courteous to those who care for you. I cannot
forget the unwavering support and telephone calls
morning, noon and night that you have given to me during
many challenging times. And oh, yes your prayers. You
give, give and give, never expecting anything in return.
Thank you for being a perfect role model to me. You are
my mother and I love you dearly.
Dearest Mom, you are so
special to me. Your tender touch, thoughtful
comments, tasty foods, gentle smiles, warm hugs and much
more, make you the greatest mom of all. |

Keith
Anson Albury Grandson:
Happy Birthday to the best
grandmother a grandson could ask for. God has blessed
our family with your nurturing through the years, and
now we are the beneficiaries of a rich legacy in Jesus.
But we have an even more
special relationship, given our shared birthday. And
today we both celebrated God's gift of life---something
we have done for as long as I can remember. The Father
has it that on every birthday, before doing anything
else, I pick up the phone to speak with my grandmother.
I am not sure how many more birthdays we have left to
enjoy together, but I am eternally grateful for all the
special memories that will forever remain with me. |

Oh Grammy, Oh Grammy,
what can I say, words cannot express how I feel watching
you go from vibrant, to now the state that you are in.
You took us all over the states and Islands with you to
visit our aunts and uncle who was stationed on different
parts of the world every summer.
You taught me how to cook and sew my zipper and hem my
skirt for school. You hand stiched my wedding vail, you
always bought us educational presents for birthday and
Christmas.
You was like my second mother, you are my second mother.
You was my first grade teacher and grandmother, you
never gave me royal treatment in class you treated me
like the rest of your students.
I miss you calling me everyday if you don't hear from me
before sunset just to say hello, I know you're tired and
ready like you say, you have completed your mission you
took care of all of us and now we are taking care of you
though painful it may be to watch you cry out in pain
sometimes, or to watch you just laying there steering.
I have no regrets I always told you and should you I
loved you and I learnt how to be the woman I am today
from you. I love you Grammy, Grammy!!!!!!
Your second grandchild Ketura Michiline Willisy Bryan
Happy birthday |

one of the most loved, caring, committed and creative
teachers ever.
On this you 86th birthday,
I wish you God’s continued loving care and blessings.
May your family and friends bring you much joy on your
special day; and may you bask in the love of our blessed
Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much for the advice you gave me in 1969
when someone had wronged me. I have kept it close to my
